Pursuant to Ministerial Decree no. 142 of 25 March 1998, Regulations on the implementation of principles and criteria for training and orientation traineeships, the Casanatense Library can currently provide for the simultaneous presence of two trainees.<\/p>\n

Training and orientation traineeships are carried out in cooperation with promoting bodies such as educational institutions and universities.
Promoters are required to insure trainees against accidents at work with the Istituto nazionale per l’assicurazione contro gli infortuni sul lavoro (INAIL), as well as with an appropriate insurance company for third party liability.<\/p>\n

The promoters ensure the presence of a tutor as organisational manager of the activities; the host Library indicates those responsible for the placement of trainees to whom they should refer. Traineeships are carried out on the basis of special agreements stipulated between the promoters and the Library.<\/p>\n

The agreement, which may cover several traineeships, must be accompanied by a training and guidance project for each traineeship, containing
a) the objectives and modalities of the traineeship;
b) the names of the tutor appointed by the promoter and the person in charge of the Library
c) the identification details of the insurances
d) the duration and period of the traineeship.<\/p>\n

Training and orientation traineeships have a maximum duration
a) not exceeding four months in the case of beneficiaries who are students attending secondary school;
b) not exceeding twelve months in the case of university students;
c) no more than six months in the case of beneficiaries who are students at State vocational schools, vocational training courses, students attending training activities post-diploma or post-degree.<\/p>\n
