interview with Paolo Francesco Magnanti
The second volume of Liberato Sabbati’s Hortus Romanus (Ms. 4460), created in 1770, was stolen on 16 June 2004, during its exhibition at the Vittoriano, on the occasion of the exhibition “Le radici della Nazione”. The theft compromised the completeness of the valuable herbarium, which originally consisted of five volumes, and twenty years after its disappearance, we would like to draw attention to it through this interview given to the television programme “Chi l’ha visto?”.
