On Wednesday 17 December, the 2nd reading room will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Closure of the Monumental Hall on 17 December
On Wednesday 17 December, it will not be possible to access the Monumental Hall and visit the museum.
Closures and changes during the holiday period
The library will be closed from Monday 29 December 2025 to Tuesday 6 January 2026. On 22-24 December 2025 and 7-9 January 2026, the reading rooms will be open until 4 p.m. (distribution and loans will end at 2.30 p.m.).

We would like to inform our users that on Monday, 27 October 2025, the Monumental Hall and the museum tour will not be available for visits. The reading rooms will be open as usual from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Interlibrary Loan Suspension
The interlibrary loan service will not be available during the month of August.
Closure of the month of August
The Library will be closed from 11 to 18 August. From 19 August it will resume regular summer hours.
Summer Timetable
From 1 July to 15 September the Library will observe summer hours. The reading rooms will be open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4 pm; distribution and lending will end at 2.30 pm. The Monumental Hall and Museum Collections can be visited free of charge...
