On 10 April 2025, the Salone Monumentale will not be available for the usual visits due to the holding of the conference ‘Dialogue, Trust, Peace, Security in the World’ promoted by the Istituto Italiano per l'Asia.

Every Thursday in March 2025 it will be possible to visit the Monumental Hall and the Bilblioeca Museum Collections from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From 3 March 2025, during regular opening hours (16 September to 30 June), it will be possible to visit the Monumental Hall and the Bilblioeca Museum Collections from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Tuesday 25 February, the Monumental Hall will be closed to the public for video filming. We apologise for the inconvenience.

On Monday 10 February, the library will be closed to the public due to work on the goods lift. It will therefore not be possible to use the usual services. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Due to organisational problems, tomorrow Thursday 6 February 2025 and Friday 7 February 2025, the Casanatense Library will close to the public at 1pm. We apologise for the inconvenience.

On Monday 27 January, the library will be closed to the public due to work on the goods lift. It will therefore not be possible to use the usual services. We apologise for the inconvenience.

On Friday 17 January, the study rooms and the Monumental Hall will be closed to the public. It will therefore not be possible to use the usual services. We apologise for the inconvenience.

On Friday 10 January, the Monumental Hall will be closed for an afternoon event. It will therefore not be possible to visit it at the usual times. We apologise for the inconvenience.

The library will be closed on 30 and 31 December 2024, and on 2 and 3 January 2025. On 23, 24 and 27 December, the library will be open until 1 p.m. (distribution and lending ends at 12 noon), and visits to the Monumental Hall will be suspended.
